Destroy

You can’t damage an Objective by just shooting at it. You have to attach and arm a HE/Plasma Charge to complete a Destroy Objective. To plant a HE/Plasma Charge, scroll through the Solider/Agressors available weapons and select the HE/Plasma Charge.

Approach the Objective and press left click to place the charge. Be sure to look for the destroy icon before placing the charge to ensure you have found the Objective.

Once the charge is attached to the target hold the Use Key ("Default F") to arm the charge. The charge will begin flashing and a timer bar will be visible bottom right of the HUD displaying how much time is remaining before detonation. Be sure to secure the location of your HE/Plasma Charge once planted to ensure an enemy Constructor does not disarm your Charge. Once the Charge is about to explode clear the area to avoid being killed by its powerful blast.

Escort MCP

Although any GDF class can drive the MCP, the GDF Engineer’s unique ability to Repair the MCP makes them a particularly good MCP driver class.

To repair the MCP, Engineers approach the damaged MCP and hold the Use Key ("Default F") when the repair icon is visible. Continue to hold the Use Key ("Default F") until fully repaired.

Construction

The GDF Engineer/Strogg Constructor can construct objectives by approaching the stack of building materials near the objective and holding the Use Key ("Default F") when the build icon appears. Your construction progress will be displayed on your crosshair. Some objectives will be constructed in stages, so you may have to fill the progress bar multiple times to accomplish your objective.

Hack

The Covert Ops/Strogg Infiltrator can hack objectives by approaching the target and holding the Use Key ("Default F") when the hack icon appears. Continue to hold the Use Key ("Default F") until the target is fully hacked.

Transport

Transport Objectives involve stealing an item from the enemy and taking it to a specific place (typically stealing vital data and taking to a transmitter). Any class not in a vehicle can pick up the Objective by running over it, and then deliver it to the final location.

Although any class can deliver a Transport Objective, the GDF Medic’s/Strogg Technician’s ability to heal themselves make them a particularly good Transport Objective class.

When you’re facing the Objective you need to deliver, you’ll get an action prompt telling you to take/steal it, so you can take it to the required location.

When you’re facing the required location, hold down the Use Key ("Default F") when the transmit icon appears.

Flyer Drone Attack

The Strogg Infiltrator must remotely pilot a Flyer Drone through access vents and detonate them at the target. To use the Flyer Drone equip it from the weapon menu and press fire to activate it. The camera will now be looking from the Drones view and you will be able to see yourself from the Drones perspective. Fly the small drone with your movement keys into an enemy location and detonate the Drone by pressing fire once as close as possible to the target.
