ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Once you have launched the game for the first time, you will be prompted to login to the game. First, you must create an account:
- Select Create User from the Login menu.
-
You are given three options:
- Create a new online account* — select this option if you have not created an account and want to play online.
- Use an existing account — select this option if you already have an online account, but have reinstalled the game or are using a different computer.
- Reset password for an online account — select this option if you feel your password has been compromised and want to change it.
- Create a user for offline use only — select this option if you do not have an Internet connection and only want to play offline.
- In the next window you will be prompted for your account information. An online account requires a unique username, a password, your key code (located on the back of the manual or in the case of the game), and your email address. For an existing account simply enter the username and password of your previously created online account. For an offline account you simply specify a username.
- You will be given an error message if any of the information added is invalid or incomplete.
*An Internet connection is required to create or retrieve an online account.
Note: Neither Activision, Splash Damage, or id Software will ever ask you for your key code. Never give it to anyone; if you lose it, you will not be issued another one!
