The Artillery Gun is a self-loading howitzer, deployed and directed by the Field Ops class, firing a ten round salvo of shells. It is highly effective against area targets.
Rocket Artillery
The Rocket Artillery deployable is a self-loading launch system firing a salvo of six rockets, deployed and directed by the Field Ops class. It is very effective against heavily armored targets. You can Lock On to ground vehicles or air vehicles to home in on them. Experienced Field Ops can Lock On to targets instantly. Field Ops in particular should test where they can deploy Rocket Artillery - unlike the high, arcing trajectory of the Strogg Plasma Mortar, the GDF Rockets have a low trajectory that often intersects with terrain or buildings.
Hammer Launcher
The Hammer Launcher is the heaviest fire support weapon deployed and directed by the Field Ops class, capable of destroying any enemy class, vehicle or deployable in its blast area.
